How To /
Beautify Links

Internet addresses (URLs) sometimes lack beauty (look too technical) or do not explain themselves well enough:

http://www.google.de

You can give such a link a label using a special syntax.

Syntax: [Internet-address Label of the link]

to look for example like:

Search

Examples

Example using a text label:

Search the web with Google

this is written: [http://www.google.de Search the web with Google]

Instead of a text label you can use the address of an image file which will then be shown instead as an "image label":

this is written: [http://www.google.com http://www.google.at/images/logo_sm.gif]

Note that if you move the cursor over the picture it changes its shape and you can actually click the picture like a normal link.

Notes

Note: You can also use an upload image address starting with "Upload: ..." (instead of a complete URL) to label such a link.
